ABOUT

Writer-director Megan Ritchie was mostly recently staffed on season 2 of SUGAR, starring Colin Farrell, on Apple+. She also recently wrote an episode of season 2 of SEVERANCE, the Emmy-winning television show currently streaming on Apple+. She is developing a television project at Dreamworks.

 

Ritchie's feature script THAT WOMAN, which tells the story of the worst day in White House intern Monica Lewinsky's young life, was a 2020 Academy Nicholl Quarterfinalist. She is the writer/director/producer of two short films, IN THE POOL (2017) and  SNIFF (2021), which had its world debut at the Monmouth Film Festival.

She has previously worked on FX’s Y: THE LAST MAN and Starz' AMERICAN GODS. Prior to transitioning to writing and directing, Ritchie was a development executive at Depth of Field.

An alumna of Macalester College, Ritchie is an excessively proud native of Minnesota. In the past, she's found herself living in Poland and China, but she currently calls Los Angeles home. She loves rollercoasters and every goddamn animal on the planet. Yes, even snakes.
